Join an Audubon educator for a guided walk along the U.S. Fish & Wildlife South Spring Pool Trail to welcome our warblers back from their southern migration. After our guided excursion\, continue the fun at Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery for a wine and snack pairing flight! While you sample your wine and have a bite to eat\, Daena Ford from Braddock Bay Raptor Research will bring out her raptor ambassadors for a live and up-close encounter.\n\nLocation: This event will start at the National Wildlife Refuge South Spring Pool Trail off State Route 89. We will then make our way to Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery (2981 Route 20\, Seneca Falls\, NY 13148). If coming in a group\, we recommend carpooling as space is limited at the trailhead parking lot. More parking is available across the street at the National Wildlife Refuge’s Hunter Check Point Station.\n\nFee: $40/person for flight tickets. $35/person for mocktail tickets. Please make your flight selection when purchasing a ticket. If your preferred flight is unavailable\, please send an email to montezuma@audubon.org and let us know what flight you would like. \n\nPurchase Tickets Here\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCall (315) 365-2588 or email montezuma@audubon.org with any questions.\nThis event is 21+\, and winery staff may ask for identification. Since a portion of the day will be outdoors\, please dress comfortably and appropriately. Binoculars will be available to borrow.\n\nThe South Spring Pool Trail is considered an easy hike that covers 2.8 miles\, with an elevation of 141ft. Trail surfaces are a mix of relatively flat and well-maintained boardwalk\, dirt\, and grass. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an unforgettable summer celebration as 13 outstanding wineries come together to present a wine and food pairing experience like no other. Set against a backdrop of sunny skies and warm breezes\, this event will highlight seasonal wines perfectly paired with delicious summer-themed and barbeque fare. \nEach wine tasting ticketholder receives a wine and food pairing\, plus an additional three tastings at each participating winery. Designated drivers receive the food offering at each participating winery\, plus non-alcoholic beverages along the way. \nChoosing a Starting Winery\nWhen you purchase tickets\, you will do so by selecting a starting winery. You must begin at your starting winery and starting wineries cannot changed once tickets are purchased. Once you’ve visited your starting winery\, you can go to participating wineries in any order you choose. \nPreview the Event Recipes\nThe event recipe book will be posted after April 1\, 2026. Due to the volume of food prepared\, wineries cannot accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions during Wine Trail event weekends. \nGroup Size Maximum\nThe group size maximum for our Wine Trail events is 6 people. \nTickets Are Non-Refundable\nSeneca Lake Wine Trail event tickets are 100% non-refundable. Due to logistical challenges\, even if you cannot attend due to an illness\, family emergency\, etc. – we cannot refund your tickets. We strongly encourage you to purchase ticket insurance. Our events are not canceled due to weather\, unless the state closes roads around the Wine Trail.
