For those who know the Martins, you know their love for the outdoors. Our other Martin Family brands showcase this through waterfowl, trees, birds, bears, and other wildlife. So it was only fitting to carry the tradition, but this time on the water. Co-Owner, George, has always had a passion for fishing since he was a little boy and learned from his father, whom we call Pa. 80 years later, you can still find George out on his boat fishing until he gets the perfect catch. Ask George about his favorite fishing stories, and he instantly lights up. Fortunately for us, he has plenty of fishing memories to tell that we can now share with you.
One of George’s best memories is of fishing with his Pa on the lake in his red rowboat. When he was a little boy, they would fish day and night together on this boat until they got their limit. Little did they know in those moments that it would inspire our new beginning here on Seneca Lake.
The name? Well, other than the Martins’ love for puns, it also showcases our focus on both premium wine and whiskey. Here, you can have Either Oar. We will also have a selection of local cheeses, allowing us to offer cheese pairings, charcuterie, and more.
