Our family is excited to announce our new ownership of Swedish Hill Winery & Vineyard located in Romulus, NY. As the previous owners, the Peterson family, look forward to the next step in their lives, we are proud to add Swedish Hill to our portfolio and blend their family story with ours. Throughout the years, we have worked very closely with the Petersons as business partners, purchasing grapes from their vineyards along with working together as neighbors on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.
We are beyond proud to continue the Peterson’s legacy here in the Finger Lakes. Join us as we take a step back in time to reminisce on how Swedish Hill’s story began, as their story has had a huge impact on the Finger Lakes wine industry. Back in 1969, Daves parents, Dick and Cindy Peterson, planted their first vines to sell grapes to Taylor Winery, one of the few wineries in the region at the time. After almost 20 years, they decided to open the doors to Swedish Hill Winery, allowing them to produce wines under their own label. Over the years, the Petersons have expanded their production by creating multiple wines that many know and love that can be found at the winery and throughout New York State.
It’s safe to say that we have some pretty big shoes to fill, but we are ready! With this comes a lot of exciting opportunities such as expanded sparkling wine production, an increase in custom work, a larger presence in liquor stores and restaurants throughout New York State, and welcoming their great, loyal fan base.
We plan to continue producing the wines everyone knows and loves from Swedish Hill while also giving it our own family touch.

Throughout all of our locations, we pride ourselves on our commitment to phenomenal customer service, innovative and forward-thinking, and creating a family-centered atmosphere for both our staff and customers, and we plan to apply that same mentality to Swedish Hill.”
As we settle into our new space, we want to welcome everyone to our new tasting room. Swedish Hill Winery & Vineyard will be open daily 10am-5pm so we invite you to stop in, check out the new space, and say hello!
