A sweet and rich dessert wine with flavors of honey, dried apricot, candied pineapple, and slight hints of butterscotch.
This wine was produced in the traditional ice wine style from Vidal Blanc grapes, harvested in January 2014. The “polar vortex” conditions of that year allowed for multiple ice wine harvests, as the fruit stayed frozen on the vine for almost the whole month of January. Conditions were so cold that some of the fruit was even able to be picked in daylight—a rarity for ice wine production.
